Intro to the Table Saw

$95.00
Only 2 available

Beginner Level:

This class will introduce students to one of the more versatile machines in the traditional woodworking shop: the table saw. Time will be spent discussing the safe operation of the table saw, blade choices, basic cutting operations, basic jigs to use, ways that you can improve on the quality of the cut, and the use of stack dado blades. Students will have hands-on time with the machine, trying out the techniques presented. There will be no 'product' produced as a part of this class. The focus for this class will be on providing the student with technical knowledge and practical machining technique know-how.

Class will be taught by our Director of Woodshop, David Amundson, a ‘reformed architect’ with 20+ years of experience in teaching the joys of woodworking while making sure that all students’ digits stay attached!

** Classes are transferrable, but not refundable.
