HOW DO CLASSES AT THE FORGE WORK?

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE A PRIVATE PARTY FOR A CLASS?

We are proud to offer a variety of classes taught by our community of professional makers! When you take a class at The Forge, you are learning from an experienced maker, who will share their knowledge and expertise, while guiding you through a project-based lesson.

Our classes take place in our various workshops around the building. All tools and materials needed for the class are provided to you, unless otherwise noted. Some classes require students to bring particular items, or do small preparations prior to the class. Those particulars will be outlined in a preparation e-mail sent 2-3 days before your class date.

We are excited to have all kinds of people from all skill levels to learn with us! Class listings outline any pre-requisite, or age requirements associated with the class, but if you have any questions, you can contact The Forge’s Director of Eduction, Boogie Rocco via e-mail at boogie@theforgenashville.org for assistance.

Most classes have a limit of 5-10 students, keeping the lessons focused and ensuring everyone gets personal attention.

DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE LESSONS?

CAN I PURCHASE A CLASS AS A GIFT FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

Absolutely! If you plan to gift a class, at checkout please make sure you fill out the class gifting fields on the order. You will need to provide the recipient’s name, e-mail address and phone number. The Forge will not send any kind of e-mail confirmation of the order to the recipient, but we will send them an e-mail 2-3 days prior to the class with instructors on how to prepare. As the gift giver, you will also receive the preparation e-mail.

As the giver, you will receive all confirmations and must forward the details to the recipient. It is also important for the giver to ensure the recipient is aware of our no-refund, no-transfer policy.

We are happy to try and accommodate your private party for any one of our classes!

Some classes may have a maximum number of attendees due to equipment limitations, or instructor capabilities.

There may be a surcharge for parties over a certain number to support additional staffing and prep time needed.

Contact The Forge’s Director of Eduction, Boogie Rocco via e-mail at boogie@theforgenashville.org for assistance.
