Mixed Media Workshop
In this class, students will learn different techniques to build backgrounds, and add textures. They will layer materials and acrylic paint and add text using paint and markers. They will also learn how to remove some materials to reveal parts of the background.
Students will have a list of themes to choose from to guide their creativity.
Students will:
● Learn the process of building a mixed media piece on a surface.
● Learn to balance color, words and materials in mixed media.
● Gain the experience of creating and engaging in a group environment.
● Leave with a completed piece of artwork.
