In this dynamic beginner level class, you will fully handmake your own coordinating leather accessories trio. Leather fashion designer Vicky “Boogie” Rocco will guide you through a variety of approaches to leatherworking with emphasis on the fashion element. You will make a leather sash belt, a leather glasses case and a leather keychain tassel, all fully functioning and ready to be worn and used. Add your own design touches with trims, feathers, or beads. This is a great class for current fashion creators who want to get into leather, or anyone interested in a fun way to begin their leatherworking journey.
Vicky “Boogie” Rocco is a technically trained fashion designer from New York, specializing in leather guitar straps, accessories, garments and the restoration of leather goods. Her work has always been inspired by music and rockstars, making Nashville the perfect place to call her home. Since 2011, Boogie has been creating custom leather goods with her brand Electric Warrior. She is excited to apply her over 20 years of experience to educating and mentoring others with interest in leather design.
