Beginners welcome! In this class we will learn the core skills of silversmithing over the course of one fun-filled day.

You will learn:

  • foundational skills and techniques of silversmithing

We will use torches and work with hot materials, so please wear closed toed shoes, long pants, and wear your hair up, if necessary.

After class, you’ll go home with all of your new handmade sterling silver jewelry, a binder full of resources on suppliers, trouble shooting tips, and reference sheets for the skills you acquired in class, as well as access to Jenny’s online beginner’s silversmithing course so you can refer back to video recorded content of the steps we cover in class.

Jenny is a full-time silversmith operating her jewelry business Sedona Rose Studio from her home in the hills outside of Nashville. You can check out her Instagram, as well.

She has taught silversmithing to hundreds of students in-person and online and many of them have gone on to create jewelry businesses of their own. She wants to share her love for this trade and the fulfillment it brings with as many people as possible.
