FUTURE MAKERS: Demolition Robotics Workshop for Kids

Duration: 3 Hours

Age Range: Children ages 7-12

Instructor: RoboThink

Have fun becoming a demolition engineer, constructing powerful robots equipped with wrecking balls, drills, and cutting-edge tools to demolish structures! Unleash destruction in a controlled environment, engineering robotic machines to safely dismantle "buildings" and obstacles.

Kids will learn to build models of construction equipment using dc motors, mainboards, IR sensors, gears, switches and more.

No experience necessary. 

All needed materials for this class will be supplied to students by The Forge. This class is activity based and there are no take-away projects. Robots are built and then dismantled within the duration of the class.

Jenny is a full-time silversmith operating her jewelry business Sedona Rose Studio from her home in the hills outside of Nashville. You can check out her Instagram, as well.

She has taught silversmithing to hundreds of students in-person and online and many of them have gone on to create jewelry businesses of their own. She wants to share her love for this trade and the fulfillment it brings with as many people as possible.
