In this introductory class, students will fashion their own classic belt from genuine leather.
Learn about the properties of vegetable tanned leather, leatherworking tools, basic principles of cutting and finishing, and how to install a removeable buckle.
You will also have the option to add decorative stamping of letters or shapes and/or decorative detailing with rivets and thread.
Beginner friendly. No prior experience with leatherworking needed.
*If possible, bring a belt that fits you well. This will help us cut the exact size for you.

Boogie Rocco is a leather fashion designer with over 20 years of experience. She is the creator of leather fashion brand Electric Warrior, specializing in bespoke guitar straps and accessories.
