Learn the incredible art of silversmithing, and take home your very own sterling jewelry!

In this fun, beginner friendly class, you will learn and practice the core skills of silversmithing. All the tools and materials you need will be provided in the class.

You will learn:

  • Foundational skills and techniques of silversmithing

  • How to make (and take home) a set of sterling silver stacking rings

  • How to make (and take home) your very own ring with a bezel set stone

You will be introduced to important techniques and tools, including torches to heat the metal.

After class, you’ll go home with all of your new handmade sterling silver jewelry, a packet full of resources on suppliers, trouble shooting tips, and reference sheets for the skills you acquired in class, as well as access to Jenny’s online beginner’s silversmithing course so you can refer back to video recorded content of the steps we cover in class. 

Plan ahead for your class:

  • Be sure and wear closed toed shoes, long pants and tie your long hair up.

  • There will be a short break for lunch, which your instructor will give you a 30 minute notice for. Please bring something to eat that does not require heating, or plan to have your lunch delivered for the time advised by your instructor.

About the Instructor:

Jenny Cramer is a full-time silversmith, operating her jewelry business Sedona Rose Studio from her home in the hills outside of Nashville. You can check out her Instagram, as well. She has taught silversmithing to hundreds of students in-person and online, many of whom have gone on to create jewelry businesses of their own. She wants to share her love for this trade and the fulfillment it brings with as many people as possible.
