Learn the amazing art of wood turning while making your own tree figurine!
We will cover the basics of the lathe, lathe tools and accessories. We will start with a discussion of various holding techniques and proper form for safety. Students will practice these new skills by turning a tree figurine on the lathe which they will take home after sanding and sealing.

Jared Moran of Wildland Woodworksis a self taught turned from Bowling Green, KY. He uses only local wood in his shop. His work is defined by a desire to highlight the natural colors and features of each wood species.
