Begin your introduction into the art of wood turning with Jared Moran of Wildland Woodworks!
We will cover the basics of the lathe, lathe tools and accessories. We will start with a discussion of various holding techniques and proper form for safety. Students will practice these new skills by turning a French Rolling Pin on the lathe which they will take home after sanding and sealing.
The maximum number of students is three, so that each student receives one on one instruction on a dedicated lathe of their own.

About the Instructor:
Jared Moran of Wildland Woodworks is a self taught turner from Bowling Green, KY. He uses only local wood in his shop. His work is defined by a desire to highlight the natural colors and features of each wood species.
