Prepping Rough Stock Lumber

$95.00

Level: Beginner

Approx. Duration: 3 Hours

Class Enrollment Closure: 3 days prior to date of class. Any last minute enrollments must be approved prior to sign up.

Instructor: David Amundson

Learn the process of preparing rough sawn stock for use in woodworking. Gain hands-on experience using the jointer, planer and table saw, as well as how to produce a piece of S4S lumber from rough sawn stock.

We will discuss alternative ways to prep S4S lumber, as not everybody has the space needed for the machines traditionally used in this process.

In a brief session following the conclusion of the class, any students willing to stay and participate will be able to run some pieces of their own stock through the machines.

All tools & materials are provided by The Forge.

All class enrollments are subject to a no-refund, no-trasfer policy. By purchasing a class, or gifting a class, you are agreeing to our policy. Please read the full FAQ and policy here: https://www.theforgenashville.org/class-policy-and-faq
