Collage Art Workshop
In this workshop, students will learn different collage techniques such as
creating a simple background, layering images and other materials, cutting parts of images to
reveal the background, cutting images and adding other images and materials into the negative
spaces, weaving paper and other ideas to make unique collage works.
Students will:
● Learn the process of building and layering images and other materials to create collage.
● Learn to balance images and negative space within the same piece of art.
● Gain the experience of creating and engaging in a group environment.
● Leave with a completed piece of artwork.
