Level: Advanced Master Class
Pre-Req Requirement: Before enrolling, you must have completed TWO other wood turning classes. ***Please do not enroll if you do not meet these requirements.
Approx. Duration: 16 Hours (2 consecutive days, 9am-5pm)

It’s time to master your wood turning skills and take your craft to the next level! In this master class, instructor Jared Moran will guide you through the art of lamp making to turn and finish your very own lamp base.
You will utilize previously acquired skills, plus learn higher level tool sharpening, advanced sanding techniques, and buffing techniques.
All lamp hardware is included. A lamp shade is not included. Approx. lamp dimensions: 5” x 5” x 12”.
The maximum number of students is two, so that each student receives one-on-one instruction, each on a lathe of their own.
This class spans 2 consecutive days from 9am-5pm. You must attend both dates to complete your project, and you must attend the first day in order to proceed. We will provide a light lunch each day. Please bring your beverages for the day.
All tools and materials for this class will be supplied to students by The Forge.

Jared Moran of Wildland Woodworks is a self taught turned from Bowling Green, KY. He uses only local wood in his shop. His work is defined by a desire to highlight the natural colors and features of each wood species.
