Level: Advanced
Prerequisite: Intro to Wood Turning: Bud Vase or Intro to Wood Turning Workshop: Bowl. Please do not enroll if you do not meet these requirements.
Approx. Duration: 8 Hours (with a lunch break.)
Age Requirement: 14+ (Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian who will remain present for the duration of the class. Under the age of 18 must be accompanied to class by a parent/legal guardian to sign a waiver on their behalf.)

Continue your intensive practice into the art of wood turning with Jared Moran of Wildland Woodworks! We will utilize previously acquired skills to master an advanced fruit bowl, which students will take home after sanding and sealing. The finished bowl is 11”-13” in diameter, twice the size of our beginner bowl turning workshop!
The maximum number of students is two, so that each student receives one-on-one instruction, each on a lathe of their own.
We will provide a light lunch. Please bring your beverages for the day. All tools and materials for this class will be supplied to students by The Forge.

Jared Moran of Wildland Woodworks is a self taught turner from Bowling Green, KY. He uses only local wood in his shop. His work is defined by a desire to highlight the natural colors and features of each wood species.
