Learn the amazing art of wood turning while making your own hanging ornament!
We will cover the basics of the lathe, lathe tools and accessories. We will start with a discussion of various holding techniques and proper form for safety. Students will practice these new skills by turning an ornament on the lathe which they will take home after sanding and sealing.
Class tuition includes all materials.

Jared Moran of Wildland Woodworks is a self taught turner from Bowling Green, KY. He uses only local wood in his shop. His work is defined by a desire to highlight the natural colors and features of each wood species.
