Class Enrollment Closure: 3 days prior to date of class. Any last minute enrollments must be approved prior to sign up.
Age Requirement: 16+ (Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian who is also enrolled in the class.)

This class will introduce students to the table saw, a versatile machine in any woodworking shop. Gain hands-on experience with the machine and try out various techniques to gather a well-rounded understanding of its use.
There is no project for this class, but students will gather practical and fundamental skills and knowledge that can be applied to any woodworking project:
Table saw safety
Blade choices
Basic cutting operations
Basic jigs to use
Ways to improve cut quality
Use of stack dado blades
All tools & materials are provided by The Forge.
